A published lift capacity is the load above the frame and usually excludes the tabletop. A 265 lb dual motor frame under a 52 lb laminate top has 213 lb left, and a desktop tower, two 27 in monitors on a dual arm and a UPS take about 100 lb of that before you lean on it.
Rated capacities and lift speeds are manufacturer specifications. The tabletop and equipment weights are planning conventions, and a real product datasheet always beats them.
Remaining = rated capacity - tabletop weight. Headroom = remaining - equipment. Lift time = travel / speed, at about 1.0 in/s single motor and 1.5 in/s dual.
